Join Berea, KY author Libby Falk Jones at the Kentucky Artisan Center on Saturday 10/4 from 10-2 as she signs and discusses her newest work, Enchanting the Ordinary. She will also be writing short, personalized poems for guests to take home with them! Libby Falk Jones is a life-long writer of poems, stories, and essays. An Emerita Professor of English at Berea College, she has taught a wide range of courses in writing and literature, including creative, contemplative, experimental, journalistic, technical, and critical writing. She is a member of the Bluegrass Writers Studio (Eastern Kentucky University) and a past president of the Kentucky State Poetry Society. She has led multiple faculty development programs and currently leads writing workshops locally and across the United States. Jones has authored or co-authored five books of poems, and her poetry and creative non-fiction works have appeared in more than 30 journals and anthologies. Aside from writing, Libby also has a passion for photography that is self-described as “a contemplative practice of seeing with wonder and gratitude.” Her most recent collection, Enchanting the Ordinary, includes poems paired with her photographs.
